New Tug Design by LNA in the Press

Offshore Marine Technology recently interviewed the Design Team at Lightning Naval Architecture. Then they published a full page article on our concepts for a new type of tug: -

Typically tugs are expected to spend a few hours away from shore at the most. However, the tugs required to engage in FLNG terminal support, in the gas fields off the Australian coast, will be operating offshore continuously for weeks at a time and thus require a complete rethink in terms of tug design.
